Privacy Policy

MIDI Drum Library · Last updated: October 20, 2026

This policy describes how the MIDI Drum Library mobile application (“MIDI Drum Library,” “the app”) handles information when you use it on your iPhone or iPad. MIDI Drum Library is designed to work without an account and to keep your favorites and pattern edits on your device unless you choose to share a file yourself.

Who we are

MIDI Drum Library is provided by Los Palmos LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company (“Los Palmos,” “we,” “us”). For questions about this policy, contact us at admin@lospalmos.org.

Summary

MIDI Drum Library does not collect any data. The app does not make network requests, does not ask for any device permissions, and contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or other third-party code. Your favorites and pattern edits are stored only on your device. We do not sell your personal information.

Information the app processes

Favorites and pattern edits (stored locally). If you save favorites or edit patterns, that data is stored only on your device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else by the app, because MIDI Drum Library does not require a login, makes no network requests, and does not use our own backend. You can remove favorites or reset pattern edits at any time within the app.

Permissions. The app does not ask for any permissions. It does not access your location, microphone, camera, contacts, or photos.

If you delete the app or erase your device, locally stored data may be removed unless you have a device backup that includes app data.

Sharing and export

MIDI files leave the app only when you choose to share one. If you export a MIDI file using the system share sheet, you choose the destination (such as Mail, Files, or another app). What happens to a shared file is then governed by the app or service you choose and its own policies, which are outside our control. We do not receive that content unless you send it to us explicitly (for example, by emailing support).

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

MIDI Drum Library does not include any third-party libraries, analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDKs, and does not engage in cross-app tracking. If that changes in a future update, we will update this policy and, where required, the App Store privacy details.

Apple and system services

Your use of MIDI Drum Library is also subject to Apple’s terms and policies for the App Store and iOS/iPadOS. Apple may process certain technical or usage information in accordance with its own policies, which are outside our control.

Data retention and deletion

We do not receive or retain any of your data. Favorites and pattern edits stay on your device until you delete them or delete the app. Copies may remain in your device backups (such as iCloud Backup) until those backups are deleted. Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on request, but you can contact us with any privacy question.

Children

MIDI Drum Library is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we should address a specific concern, contact us using the information below.

Security

We design the app to store your favorites and pattern edits locally on your device. No method of storage is perfectly secure; keeping your device software up to date and using device passcode or biometrics helps protect your data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
