This policy describes how the MultiChess mobile application (“MultiChess,” “the app”) handles information when you use it on your iPhone or iPad. MultiChess is designed to work without an account and to keep your games on your device unless you choose to export or share them yourself.

Gameplay and app data (stored locally). To save your games between launches, MultiChess stores chess-related data on your device, such as board positions, move history, game names, and preferences (for example, display and difficulty settings). This data stays on your device under your Apple ID’s app sandbox and is not sent to our servers by the app, because MultiChess does not require a login and does not use our own backend for gameplay.
If you delete the app or erase your device, locally stored data may be removed unless you have a device backup that includes app data.
If you use features that export or share move lists (for example, via the system share sheet), you choose the destination (such as Mail, Files, or another app). We do not receive that content unless you send it to us explicitly (for example, by emailing support).
The version of MultiChess described in this policy is intended to operate without third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking. If that changes in a future update, we will update this policy and, where required, the App Store privacy details.
Your use of MultiChess is also subject to Apple’s terms and policies for the App Store and iOS/iPadOS. Apple may process certain technical or usage information in accordance with its own policies, which are outside our control.
MultiChess is a general-audience chess game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app in a way that requires parental consent under applicable law. If you believe we should address a specific concern, contact us using the information below.
We design the app to store game data locally on your device. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is perfectly secure; keeping your device software up to date and using device passcode or biometrics helps protect your data.
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy. Material changes may also be reflected in App Store release notes where appropriate.
